To do something great is remarkable, but to repeat it in a grander fashion is extremely amazing. Last Sunday, Nov 16, 2018 we experienced what we can comfortably call the concert of the year at the second edition of DJ Slim Invasion: The Orijinal Beats Edition.
Staged at Kumasi City Mall, the Supreme Bigger Figure, DJ Slim recruited a massive line-up of artistes to entertain the beautiful people of Kumasi for free. From Ground Up’s camp, Kwesi Arthur, Kofi Mole, Quamina MP, Twitch and Raph Enzee, to Lynx Entertainment’s KiDi and Kuami Eugene, the night was an eyesaw. Adina came through with the melodic vibes, as Lil Win brought thrilling humour to the crowd.
The proud fvck boy, Tulenkey had people chanting, as well as Dope Nation, Strongman and Cabum. With his love for the city, DJ Slim paved the way for Kumasi acts such as King Paluta, Bra Benk, Ratty, Amerado and Y Pee to perform, as well as a lot of upcoming acts.
The MCs, Mensa Jr and Kojo Manuel were blazing. DJ Aroma exhibited his finger prowess, along with DJ Bongo and DJ Mpesempese. In fact, the Christmas season has begun right, and DJ Slim has set the bar higher with this invasion.
