Footballers are incredible because they manage to perform under extreme pressure every day but the pressure of running a car clearly got to Thomas Partey in front of his teammates at Atletico Madrid.
No one’s pretending for a minute that what sports people do is braver than say a fireman or soldier or anything else like that but it certainly takes testicular fortitude to perform in front of baying fans and a worldwide audience every week.
