When N’Golo Kante’s name was brought up in the whole ‘Football Leaks’ scandal, there was surely a collective gasp from football fans.
Was his good guy image all an act? Had he actually been up to some dodgy stuff? These were just a couple of the questions I had after it emerged Kante set up an offshore company – which is fairly common amongst footballer players and managers.
He said “he just wants a normal salary.”
Well it turns out that the offshore company could have saved him around £870,000 a year on his salary
The report goes on to claim that Kante will pay £564,000 a month in tax income, as well as £305,000 in National Insurance per annum.
Kante really is the gift that keeps on giving and you can’t help but love him no matter who you support.
He drives a Mini Cooper but had initially planned to run to the training ground, he was too shy to ask for a picture with the World Cup trophy after playing a vital role in France’s triumph. Plus, no one has ever looked happier than N’Golo was to be riding a mountain bike.
What’s more, the Leicester City man had dinner, watched MOTD played FIFA with a group of strangers in their house after they extended an invite to him.
