Vodafone Ghana is headlining this year’s Social Media Week, in line with a consistent strategy to ignite Ghana’s digital revolution.
The Social Media Week is a global event which has been hosted in over 20 cities across the country. The concept was only introduced in Ghana last year and digital creative outfit, Echo House, is the main organiser. Last year’s edition received rave reviews from prominent leaders, including CEOs and the President Nana Akufo-Addo.
This year, a packed itinerary including seminars, outdoor experiential programmes and masterclass sessions are expected to take center stage at the Accra Mall. Vodafone is also using its sponsorship of the event to register 1,000 small scale business online using about 200 agents in a market storm activity across the capital. Some Senior Managers of the telecom company will also be part of the Masterclass sessions whilst Vodafone Cash discount shops will be set up at key places in Accra.

The week-long event will begin on Monday, September 10th to Friday 14th, 2018.
