Alexandre Lacazette will sign for Arsenal in a €53 Million Deal, according to Téléfoot in France.
The French striker will become the Gunners’ record signing, replacing Mesut Ozil as the club’s most expensive player, with the German play maker costing £42 million when he arrived from Real Madrid, in 2013.
The 26-year-old has scored 129 goals in 275 games for Lyon, including a remarkable 37 in 45, last season.
Lacazette has been named in the Ligue Un team of the year on three occasions and won the player of the year award for the 2014-15 campaign, after he scored 31 goals in 40 appearances.
Despite some Gunners’ fans excitement over the imminent arrival of the France international, it is believed that Lacazette’s arrival will speed up the departure of Alexis Sanchez, who is expected to join Manchester City.
