Ghana is about to experience a phenomenal pageant that projects a real legacy namely Miss Face of Ghana UK. The event is power by SWISH HQ UK TV and organized by ASHMOLE International Academy, Tema Ghana. The CEO of LNJ Group, Ludwig Nii Jr is passionate about education as such he foundered Ashmole International Academy and Miss Face of Ghana UK. The first pageant in the UK to solely focus on education and education only.
Ludwig Nii Jr came to his conclusion based to the fact that education in Ghana is improving but not at the pace expected for a country at lower middle income status. This issue cannot be ignored as Ghana is the poster child of Africa; our economy is projected with great potential. Nelson Mandela rightly said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.
Miss face of Ghana UK ’17, Ghana Edition is not the first pageant organized by SWISH HQ UK TV; most of our productions are based in the UK. However the SWISH HQ TV team believes that replicating such productions in Ghana is such a brilliant move to support education in our motherland.
Miss face of Ghana UK is an annual beauty pageant, which focuses on education, economic and social issues geared towards nation building amongst the youth. This pageant also aims to empowering women to be leaders, achievers, encouraging women to move outside their comfort zones, explore and develop new skills. Our aim amongst other is to:
- Foster learning and education in the rural and deprived communities in Ghana.
- Create a platform for intelligent driven, patriotic and passionate Ghanaian women to represent Africa on international stages, expressing the diverse challenges plaguing the regular pupil and soliciting funds to address such challenges.
- Collaborate with corporate Ghana and UK to embark on sustainable projects to reduce the stigma against physically and mentally challenged students.
- Promote Afrocentric cultures and values on international platforms, which would adversely promote tourism in Ghana.
Our aims and ambitions to address challenging issues in education means that Trusted British Institutions, Universities and International media houses have pledge their support for Miss Face of Ghana UK, Ghana Edition due its focus on education. Also, many public personalities in Ghana have promised to attend the grand finale.
