Huge news regarding Gareth Bale’s Real Madrid future.
Bale secured a reported £85.3 million transfer from Spurs to the Spanish giants in 2013, following his heroics in the Premier League.
According to reports via Bleacher Report, Real Madrid will be open to bids in the region of £85 million.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with Bale, but the report also claims they’ll have to fend off competition from a fellow Premier League side.
Bales former club, Spurs, are also keeping tabs on his situation.
Though United are the front runners for his signature should Real Madrid sanction a transfer.
Mourinho was hellbent on signing a winger in the summer transfer market, identifying Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic. But after failing to strike a deal for the Croatian international, the Portuguese gaffer could finally fill that position with the signing of Bale.
While Bale’s won a staggering THREE Champions League titles, his time at the Spanish capital will be remembered for his inability to keep fit.
