All is set for the maiden edition of the e.TV Ghana manifesto dialogues which comes off today at the Social Welfare Vocational Institute inside Madina.
The event will bring together top reps from the various political parties to articulate their party’s views on issues pertaining to the economy of Ghana.
Manifesto Dialogues is an interactive issue-based campaign meant to educate the electorate on critical sectors of the economy as found in the manifestos of the various political parties in order to make an informed choice in the 2016 elections.
Speaking ahead of this maiden edition, Fati Shaibu Ali, News Editor of e.TV Ghana, said, ‘’due to the fact that most parties have not launched their manifestos yet, the discussion will centre on issues about the economy from each party’s point of view,’’ adding that, ‘’it is a dialogue amongst industry stakeholders and the general public to try and understand some of the inner workings of the industry.’’
The Dialogues which is funded by the National Endowment for Democracy Fund (Ned Fund), will be moderated by Host of State of the Nation on e.TV Ghana, Kwame Gyan.
The general public can also join the conversation on social media by following the hashtag #manifestodialogues and also visit www.etvghana.com for more information
